Ginger Apple Pork Chops


5oz pork chops

2oz margarine

1 small white onion

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp onion powder

2 1/2 garlic powder

1 tbs sage

1tbs dry ground mustard

2 1/2 tsp ground fennel seed

2 tsp chopped dry rosemary

16 oz apple cider vinegar

8 oz sugar

24 oz jar unsweetened applesauce


1.) Preheat oven at 375.

2.) Sear pork chops on both sides, place pork chops in a baking dish in oven.

3.) Melt butter, slow simmer mix of onions, salt, pepper, ground ginger, cinnamon, onion powder, garlic powder, sage, ground mustard, ground fennel seed, and rosemary until translucent.

4.) Add apple cider vinegar and sugar to dissolve sugar.

5.) Remove from heat and stir in applesauce.

*Best served with mashed potatoes and bacon Brussel sprouts.
